The Chinese Contractors Association (Tanzania) (Hereinafter called CCA) is a self-regulatory and non-profit industrial organization initiated and formed by the Chinese enterprises mainly engaged in engineering contract in Tanzania, which is led by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the United Republic of Tanzania and directed by the Economic and Commercial Office of the People's Republic of China in the United Republic of Tanzania.
CCA aims to promote the interaction, coordination and exchanges between Chinese enterprises and provide services for Chinese enterprises. Enhance the contact, communication and understanding between Chinese enterprises and local government and business circles, promote mutual exchange and cooperation and improve the integration of Chinese enterprises into local society. Guide and standardize the business activities of member units in Tanzania market, solve major management problems through negotiation and coordinate member interests to avoid vicious competition. Establish and complete the Chinese enterprises performance/operation assessment system and take it as the basis for project and market development coordination.
Currently CCA has 40 members and most of them are Chinese contractor companies. CCA will keep on fulfilling social responsibilities and promote the image building of Chinese enterprises.
