China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC), one of the four large state-owned contracting companies of China entering international markets as pioneer, mainly focuses on the contracting of such projects as roads, bridges, ports, railways, airports, real estate, industrial parks, etc. as well as the investment, industrial development, and operation services. With its nearly 60 branch offices over countries in Asia, African, Europe and South America, CRBC has established an efficient and rapid operation and development management network. Now, it is an important carrier, window and platform for the overseas businesses of China Communications Construction Company Limited (CCCC), a Fortune 500 enterprise. Originated from the Foreign Aid Office of the Ministry of Communications of China, CRBC has been undertaking overseas projects aided and financed by Chinese government since 1958. In 1979, CRBC was formally established and started contracting business around world. It became a wholly owned subsidiary of China Communications Construction Company Limited (CCCC) following a major corporate re-structuring in 2005. Being one of CCCC’s leading companies engaging in overseas business, CRBC has successfully completed a number of highly acclaimed landmark projects.
In 2001, CRBC was formally established and started contracting business in Tanzania. CRBC has successfully completed a number of highly acclaimed landmark road and/or bridge projects in Tanzania, Such as Tuduma-Songwe Road in 2001, Mbeya-Lwanjilo-Chunya Road(highest truck road in Tanzania). Since 2001, CRBC has been providing best service and high quality projects to Employers through efficient management, and winning highly credibility through contributing to communities and putting people first. In future, CRBC will continue to partake responsibility of government, contribute to communities through participating various projects, to meet the urgent needs of fast economic growth of Tanzania and rapidly expanding social development.
